Timothy Rooney Senior Curator Timothy Rooney was born in Chicago and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up near the Des Moines Art Center where he took many classes as a child. Tim studied painting in Milwaukee at Cardinal Stritch University. He worked with renowned painter Sr. Thomasita Fessler and earned a BFA with an emphasis in painting. Tim then moved to Madison to manage the fine art program for Marshall Erdman and Associates, Inc.. Marshall Erdman was a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright, who founded the design/build firm specializing in outpatient medical facilities. Rooney curated art collections for hundreds of Erdman's facilities during his ten years with the firm. He left Erdman in 1997 to join the Tandem Press staff as Curator. Tim enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two sons.
